Kid Safe Play Clay Modelling Dough

Kids love to squish, form, and smash clay and modelling dough also called play dough or salt clay.

Here's a basic play modeling dough for children that's safe and simple and inexpensive.

Try this recipe for a kid-safe home made play clay craft dough you can make from kitchen ingredients.

Modeling Dough Recipe

3 cups flour
1-1/2 cups salt
1-1/2 cups water
2 tbs. oil
food coloring

Mix all ingredients together. Divide into small portions and
add food coloring for the color you want.

Some folks like to use Kool-Aid as the coloring - it also adds a scent.

If the dough is too moist, add more flour. Store in covered containers and keep cool - stores for a few days.
