Presidents Day is a United States Federal holiday that honors the founding fathers of the nation in the month when two famous leaders were born. The first American President, George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. Abraham Lincoln (16th president) was born on February 12, 1809. Today, the celebrations are combined into a single holiday, Presidents Day, observed on the third Monday in February, which is a day to remember and honor all past Presidents of the United States of America.
